Key Responsibilities :

Conduct sales calls in person over the phone and via email

Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals cold calling direct mail and networking

Manage selling activities to drive sales performance profitability and customer satisfaction

Work with customers to resolve problems and provide solutions

Stay informed about competitor activity pricing and tactics and communicate insights to the team

Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM for followup and customer engagement

Oversee the profit & loss of the branch rental department

Visit customer job sites for sales estimating and customer service purposes

Provide recommendations and strategies to improve service quality and efficiency

Estimate equipment sizing to meet customer power needs

Align with company core values

High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)

Must be 18 years or older

2 years of sales and / or customer service experience preferred but not required

Basic knowledge of diesel generators or willingness to learn

Valid drivers license and ability to meet insurance requirements

Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Customer serviceoriented with excellent presentation abilities

Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently

Computer skills including MS Office (Word Excel Outlook) and data entry

Professional appearance and ability to represent the company positively

Flexible schedule including availability for afterhours and weekend work based on customer needs

Ability to pass a background check and periodic drug screenings
