Job Summary
The Program Coordinator plays a vital role in the successful implementation and management of programs aimed at supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Key Responsibilities:
1. **Program Development: ** - Design and implement engaging program activities that promote academic, social, and emotional growth. - Collaborate with staff to develop a curriculum that aligns with educational standards and the needs of the children.
2. **Staff Management: ** - Recruit, train, and supervise program staff and volunteers. - Provide ongoing support and professional development opportunities for staff.
3. **Communication: ** - Serve as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians, addressing concerns and providing updates on program activities. - Foster partnerships with schools, community organizations, and families to enhance program offerings.
4. **Safety and Compliance: ** - Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. - Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, conducting regular safety inspections.
5. **Administrative Duties: ** - Manage program budgets, including tracking expenses and preparing financial reports. - Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and program evaluations.
6. **Evaluation and Improvement: ** - Assess program effectiveness through surveys, feedback, and observation. - Implement improvements based on evaluation results and best practices in after-school programming.
