Production Worker - General

What You’ll Do:

Build and Create:

• Assemble screen frames using hand tools, pneumatic equipment, and other tools to meet customer specifications
• Install screen cloth onto frames with precision and care, ensuring a product that exceeds expectations
• Operate tools like air tools, saws, and tape measures safely and efficiently to keep production moving
• Effectively read product labels to properly pack orders for shipping

Ensure Quality:

• Inspect completed products to maintain the highest production standards
• Monitor production for inconsistencies and address issues promptly to keep things running smoothly

Keep Things Running:

• Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations to ensure everything is in top working order
• Coordinate with materials handlers to keep supplies stocked and production uninterrupted

Collaborate and Innovate:

• Work alongside a dynamic team, cross-training and sharing skills to enhance productivity and versatility
• Follow 5S principles daily to ensure an organized, clean, and efficient workspace
• Adhere to comprehensive safety protocols and foster a culture of safety-first

What You Bring to the Team:

• High School diploma or equivalent qualification; 2 years of related experience or and equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities
• Capable of following instructions and responding to management direction
• Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Exhibits experience working collaboratively in a team environment
• Has the ability to read and interpret various documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Possesses effective verbal communication skills

Physical Demands

As a member of our team, you will need to meet the following physical requirements to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the role:

• Standing: Frequently remain in a standing position for extended periods while performing repetitive tasks
• Pace: Ability to work at a steady and consistent pace, with periods of fast-paced activity as needed
• Walking, Reaching, and Handling: Frequently move about the facility to access products, machinery, and equipment
• Lifting: Regularly lift and move items up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move items up to 50 pounds with assistance
• Seeing: Frequently read operational and safety documents, differentiate colors, and adjust visual focus as required
• Talking and Hearing: Communicate clearly and accurately with colleagues, co-workers, and customers to exchange necessary information
• Manual Dexterity: Regularly use hand-eye coordination to assemble products and operate machinery with precision
