Regional Materials Strategist

Job Description

The Regional Materials Strategist oversees the flow of materials from procurement to distribution, ensuring the right materials are available to meet production and customer needs. This leader will develop, implement, and maintain procurement strategies to balance quality, cost, and supply continuity with a systems-driven approach consistent across all sites.

The individual will work collaboratively with the Operations teams, focusing on ensuring inventory levels support changing demand while protecting the company's working capital interest. Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining inventory levels to ensure deliveries occur within customer timelines.
• Ensuring accuracy of the perpetual inventory system.
• Working with the purchasing department to schedule delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Collaborating with other departments such as production, finance, and quality control to ensure material requirements are met.
