Bartender at Cocktail Lounge

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for mixology and excellent customer service skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for guests while preparing and serving a variety of beverages. Your ability to engage with patrons and provide exceptional hospitality will contribute to an enjoyable dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and equipment is in good working order.
• Engage with customers, taking drink orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system, handling cash and credit card payments efficiently.
• Adhere to food safety and handling regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate catering services for events as needed.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods, ensuring timely service without compromising quality.

Experience

• Previous bartending experience in a fine dining or high-volume establishment is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and retail math is essential for accurate order processing.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits; ability to create new drink recipes is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality; ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic math skills are necessary for managing tabs and processing payments accurately.
• Experience in catering or food handling is beneficial but not required.
