Responsibilities
- Check in/out patients
- Prepare/Assist/Review new patient forms
- Review/Scan insurance cards and identification into EMR
- Responsible for registering and verifying insurance and add-on patients
- Collect copays/deductibles/co-insurance fees
- Data enter update/maintain patient information
- Administrative support for physicians and other staff members
- Call patients to confirm appointments
- Complete opening and closing procedures
- Maintaining a clean and presentable office/lobby
- Uphold HIPAA, State, Federal and local confidential regulations
