Program Assistant
General Responsibility: This positions primary responsibility is to assist with health care services and ADL’s; such as, bathing, toileting, feeding assist, etc. to assure that all participants receive adequate quality care. Also to assist the Activity Program Director in the delivery of activities to assure that all participants are being worked with on physical, social or emotional activities to help participant receive adequate life enrichment.
Qualifications
Ø Must have successfully completed a nurse’s aide, home health aide or equivalent training course, or
Ø A minimum of one year of related experience in caring for impaired adults; which includes knowledge and understanding of the physical and emotional aspects
Ø Must present a medical statement, completed within the past 12 months by a physician, nurse practitioner, or physician’s assistant, certifying that the employee has no illness or health condition that would pose a health risk to others and that the employee can perform the assigned duties
Ø Must provide at least 3 reference letters or reference contacts that include at least one previous employer
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
