Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and lead nationwide sales personnel toward achievement of corporate sales objectives.
- Manage to budget and report on revenue forecasts and adjustments ensuring strategic goal alignment.
- Develop competencies and processes required to create an effective and efficient sales organization.
- Provide leadership through effective communication of vision, active coaching, and development while comparing sales results to goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary.
- Engage in key or targeted customer activities.
- Oversee and manage the sales team to ensure company quotas and standards are met by holding daily check-ins with team to set priorities, plan and review progress.
- Analyze data to identify sales opportunities, develop promotional ideas, and materialize sales strategies.
- Cultivate lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty.
- Develop and execute territory action plans to achieve significant sales targets.
- Plan and coordinate public affairs, and communications efforts, to include public relations and community outreach.
- Participate in training and organizational development efforts that drive sales effectiveness.
- Utilize CRM systems to manage sales pipeline and efficiently drive sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning.
- Develop and implement sales plans for specific channels/areas assessed and reviewed on a quarterly basis.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all general company policies and governmental regulations regarding business activities in the assigned territory.
