What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent position at The Sagamore Resort?
The Sagamore is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Assistant Superintendent to join our golf course grounds team!
This person with work with our Superintendent to lead our team in the daily management of our renowned golf course, including turf management, repairing and maintaining our fleet of equipment, and specific projects and tasks that keep our course in top condition.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of the day-to-day operations, helping to maintain the entire course, including: greens, fairways, bunkers, water hazards, and more.
- Assist in the scheduling of maintenance and projects
- Execute proper turf management practices.
- Establish a good working relationship with the team as leadership, and assist with administrative functions
- Repair and maintenance of golf course machinery and equipment
