What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resort Driver position at The Sagamore Resort?

The shuttle driver is responsible for providing and enforcing safe transit for associates utilizing associate shuttle by following the shuttle schedule. The shuttle driver is responsible for following all traffic rules and laws and for helping maintain healthy and clean vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Assists passengers to enter and leave car, holds umbrellas in wet weather, and loads and unloads baggage and luggage.
- Makes overnight drives and extended trips requiring irregular hours.
- Keeps car clean, polished, and in operating condition.
· Drive Island and Golf shuttles routes.
· Drive airport, train, bus, etc. Arrivals and departures.
· Drive guests tours.
· Drive Sagamore shuttles for shopping, horseback riding, skiing, snowmobiling, rafting, etc.
· Deliver and pick up messages, faxes, packages, etc. throughout the resort.
· Clean and wash vehicles.
· Operates Radio or similar devise to communicate with base station or other vehicles.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Comfortable driving large vehicles
- High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required
- Previous experience a plus
