The Salon Professional Academy, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Administrative Assistant – Data Entry Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining accurate records, managing data entry tasks, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle large volumes of data efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain data in company databases and spreadsheets.
- Verify and review data for errors or discrepancies, making necessary corrections.
- Organize and maintain electronic and paper files for easy retrieval.
- Assist with compiling reports, generating documents, and tracking information.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing emails, and preparing correspondence.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of all sensitive information.
- Work closely with team members to streamline data entry processes and improve efficiency.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in administrative support and data entry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and database management.
- Strong typing skills with high accuracy and speed.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Meevo and Canva.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
