Essential Functions
- Develop, oversee, and coordinate music and creative arts (e.g., theater, dance, visual arts) ministries opportunities and initiatives.
- Create, maintain, and evaluate a mission driven, strategic engagement plan.
- Provide guidance, resources, and consultation to Corps, including site-based support.
- Plan and administer music and creative arts related camps and events, in conjunction with supervisors.
- Support overnight camp programs by residing on-site at Northwood Camp for the duration of summer programming; provide gospel presentation leadership and assist with worship needs.
- Cultivate, manage, and direct Divisional and Twin Cities wide praise and worship groups.
- Create discipleship opportunities for participants in all programs and activities.
- Facilitate mentoring relationships between participants and volunteers.
- Encourage Salvationists to express their faith and grow in holiness through creative expression.
- Equip participants and volunteers to share the gospel through music and creative arts.
- Provide vocal/instrumental music instruction and training on the use and maintenance of audio multimedia equipment, as needed.
- Create and maintain a list of music and creative arts material and equipment vendors.
- Coordinate the use of Divisional audio multimedia equipment.
- Provide support for music and creative arts events and activities, as assigned.
- Represent the Northern Division at internal and external functions, as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field. In lieu of degree, a combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a senior soldier in good standing preferred.
- Previous experience with music instruction, leading worship through music, and the ability to lead and work with adults and children.
- Experience in church worship, with both piano and hymnody, including performing various genres of music.
- Must pass background checks, possess a valid driver's license, and pass MVR check.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- High level of honor in dealing with confidential information.
- Works with integrity, valuing honesty and diligence.
- Proficient with PC, Microsoft Office, and music/comp programs.
- Sight-reading and improve skills preferred.
Working Conditions
- Mostly sedentary work using a computer, office equipment, and a phone.
- Must be able communicate clearly in English.
- Reside on-site at Northwoods camp in Finlayson, MN for the duration of summer camp programs, approximately nine weeks.
- Professional environment; eligible for a remote-friendly work environment.
- Work hours will include weekends (Sunday worship) and evenings on occasion.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Provide guidance, direction, and support to volunteers and special project interns.
Travel Requirements
Occasional driving throughout the metro and infrequent travel to Salvation Army locations throughout Minnesota and North Dakota utilizing an agency vehicle or personal vehicle.

Salary : $68,000 - $72,000
