Cabin Counselors play a vital role in providing a safe and enjoyable experience for children at our summer camp. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring, leading, and controlling a group of children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being throughout the camp session.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure the safety of campers at all times
- Lead and control the group of children, promoting positive behavior and respect
- Assist in teaching activities and promoting rest time for tired campers
- Plan and implement activities for rainy days and other unforeseen circumstances
- Work collaboratively with fellow staff members to ensure a seamless camp experience
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of training and experience required
- Previous experience working with children preferred
