As a Cabin Counselor, you will be responsible for providing a safe and meaningful experience for children in a Christian environment. This role involves monitoring, leading, and controlling a group of children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being throughout the camp session.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and settle campers for each session, ensuring their comfort and safety
- Promote personal cleanliness, proper attire, and sun protection among campers
- Model and encourage respect among campers at all times
- Assist in teaching activities and promote rest time for tired campers
- Plan and implement activities for rainy days and other unforeseen circumstances
- Collaborate with fellow staff members to ensure a seamless camp experience
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of training and experience required
- Previous experience working with children preferred
