Responsibilities and Expectations
The Head Program Aide will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our summer camps. Key responsibilities include:
- Monitor Camper Safety: Ensure a safe environment by monitoring campers and program areas for potential health and safety concerns.
- Maintain Equipment: Regularly inspect and prepare program equipment to guarantee its functionality.
- Coordinate Schedules: Collaborate with management to schedule and assign tasks for other program aides.
- Support Camp Programs: Actively participate in assigned camp programs and activities, contributing to a positive experience for all campers.
- Manage Snack Shop: Oversee daily tasks of the "Critters Snack Shop," ensuring efficient services and inventory checks.
- Assist with Meals: Assist kitchen staff with meal service, including setup, serving, and cleanup.
- Build Relationships: Foster a supportive rapport with campers and colleagues, promoting a welcoming atmosphere.
- Guide Camper Behavior: Encourage campers' compliance with rules and expectations.
- Participate in Spiritual Activities: Attend and engage in designated spiritual activities and devotions as part of the camp program.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Experience working with children is preferred.
- Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be willing to participate in religious activities.
- Must pass background checks.
