Hour rate range: $19.00 to $23.00
JOB SUMMARY: Provide accounting support to assigned units. Assist departmental staff as needed.
General office duties to include the following:
- Ingesting and Filing Documents
- Copying and Organizing Documents
- Calling vendors to verify vendor name, address and other pertinent information per their Form W-9s
- Ensure all e-ticket forms have been submitted for reconciliation at the month-end.
- Reconcile month-end Hawaiian Airlines detailed spreadsheet for A/P to record.
Weekly Bank deposits
Prepare Audit Accreditation worksheets and processing for Units (ATS/FTS) to fulfill CARF Billing Audit Accreditation
Processing Thrift Store cash receipts
Processing Corps cash receipts to include the following:
- Corps: Chuuk, FSM, Molokai, Kaneohe, and Lihue
- Includes processing of the following transactions:
- Account coding
- Record transactions and enter data in various accounting systems
- Prepare and process invoices (A/R)
Interact with Accountants, other finance department staff, Corps Officers, Program Staff and others as needed.
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
Performs other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:
High School Diploma or equivalent (i.e., GED)
Work experience in computerized accounting system preferred, familiarity with
Microsoft Excel and Word
Prioritize multiple work tasks to meet tight deadlines
