The in-residence rehabilitation program focuses on basic necessities with every man or woman being provided a clean and healthy living environment, good food, work therapy, leisure time activities, group and individual counseling, and spiritual direction. All our effort is focused on developing life skills and a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. More than just a job, each member of the team contributes to recycling goods that literally recycle and repair broken lives.
The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate routes and use the triangle system to keep record of location and production of all vehicles.
Duties:
- The Dispatcher will coordinate all pick-up routes
- Assist with proper routing of pick-up orders, tracking and filing of all pick-up tickets
- Re-routing trucks as directed and assist on phones as needed.
- The Dispatcher will be responsible to report any vehicle issues (breakdown, accident, flat tire, etc.) immediately
- Maintain completed call records and reports for determining trends and productivity and send to supervisor daily.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or relevant work experience.
- Familiar with phone system and proper operation.
- Experience in routing and transportation procedures preferred.
- Good communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR.
