Position Summary
The Salvation Army Northern Division Divisional Director of Music and Creative Arts Ministries is responsible for the oversight and coordination of music and creative arts ministries opportunities and initiatives throughout Minnesota and North Dakota. The Director offers support and guidance to local Corps and provides discipleship opportunities to participants and volunteers.

Essential Functions
- Develop, oversee, and coordinate music and creative arts (e.g., theater, dance, visual arts) ministries opportunities and initiatives.
- Create, maintain, and evaluate a mission driven, strategic engagement plan.
- Provide guidance, resources, and consultation to Corps, including site-based support.
- Plan and administer music and creative arts related camps and events, in conjunction with supervisors.
- Support overnight camp programs by residing on-site at Northwood Camp for the duration of summer programming; provide gospel presentation leadership and assist with worship needs.
- Cultivate, manage, and direct Divisional and Twin Cities wide praise and worship groups.
- Create discipleship opportunities for participants in all programs and activities.
- Facilitate mentoring relationships between participants and volunteers.
- Encourage Salvationists to express their faith and grow in holiness through creative expression.
- Equip participants and volunteers to share the gospel through music and creative arts.
- Provide vocal / instrumental music instruction and training on the use and maintenance of audio multimedia equipment, as needed.
- Create and maintain a list of music and creative arts material and equipment vendors.
- Coordinate the use of Divisional audio multimedia equipment.
- Provide support for music and creative arts events and activities, as assigned.
- Represent the Northern Division at internal and external functions, as assigned.

Travel Requirements
Occasional driving throughout the metro and infrequent travel to Salvation Army locations throughout Minnesota and North Dakota utilizing an agency vehicle or personal vehicle.
