Qualifications
- Answer all calls related to the Food Pantry
- Maintain all records according to the policies
- Work with other departments regarding statistics, and referrals of clientele, etc.
- Coordinate Volunteers that will help at the pantry
- Responsible to schedule and obtain the food pickups
- Make sure the Food Pantry is clean, neat and in order (organizing and stocking shelves, maintenance of refrigerators and freezers, sweep and mop floors, inspect and clean shelves everyday
- Client intake and assessment prior to food distribution
- Supply clients with information regarding other services within the community.
- Perform other duties within the scope of the position.
Requirements Include
- Sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or occasional continuous basis.
- Grasp, push, pull objects such as reference materials, files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead.
- Ability to load and to change settings, devices, fixtures, on various equipment used in and around an office environment
- Operate telephone and other electronic communication devices.
- Operate various other office equipment including personal computers, copiers, fax machines, and scanning equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to travel throughout the Division via car, train, or airplane.
- Ability to be creative, original, intuitive, and perceptive.
- Ability to think logically and critically.
- Ability to envision a project from beginning to end.
