Event Attendant

Location: Daytona Beach Corps – Daytona Beach, Florida Position Type: Part-Time, approximately 29 hours/week Pay Range: $13.00 - $13.50 About this opportunity: Provides set up and break down for Corps events and rentals. Monitors Corps facility while events are taking place to ensure safety and cleanliness.  Key responsibilities: Assists in setting up meeting rooms; sets up tables and chairs; puts ice in glasses and sets out drinks.    Monitor Corps facility while events are taking place for safety and cleanliness.     Cleans any unoccupied areas while event is taking place.    Drives Salvation Army vehicle to pick-up miscellaneous items or to transport passengers on occasion. What we are looking for in you: High School Diploma or G.E.D., and Six months experience assisting with event monitoring/security, or Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Valid State driver’s license is required   Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Physical ability to lift and carry and/or push/pull moderately heavy objects (25 lbs) Work is performed in a normal office environment with some exposure to temperatures, dirt and dust.
