Location:                    The Salvation Army New Orleans, Louisiana   Position Title:            Kitchen Assistant   Position Type:           Hourly/Part- Time with benefits   Rate of Pay:              $9.29   Schedule:                  4:00 am to 9:00 am, Monday through Friday   About this opportunity:   Assists in the preparation and serving of meals; cleans kitchen equipment and washes dishes; sweeps, mops and waxes floors.     Responsibilities include:   Knowledge of cleaning practices, methods and techniques.   Ability to assist in the preparation and presentation of meals.   Ability to wash dishes and kitchen appliances.   Ability to clean kitchen and dining area.     What we are looking for:   High school diploma or equivalent   And   One-year experience working in a kitchen preferred   High School diploma or equivalent, and one-year experience working in a kitchen preferred.     Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:   Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
