Location: Leesburg Corps, Leesburg, Florida
Position Type: Part-Time, less than 20 hrs/wk
Pay Range: $13/hr
About this opportunity:
This position is responsible for providing care for infants and toddlers in a nursery setting and ensuring the nursery is maintained in a safe and clean manner at all times.
Key responsibilities:
Monitors all babies’ behavior and activities in a constant manner, ensuring their health and safety at all times.
Prepares babies' food and feeds babies in accordance with diet established by the parents.
Changes babies diapers and ensures babies are clean before applying a fresh diaper.
What we are looking for in you:
High school diploma or G.E.D. required AND
Six months experience caring for babies in a nursery environment, OR
Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Ability to observe children and ensure their safety.
Ability to lift, hold, and carry infants and toddlers on a continuous basis weighing up to 25 lbs.
