Preschool Teacher

Location: Venice Corps Community Center – Venice, FL Position Type: Part Time – 25 hours/week - Monday to Friday Pay Range: $18-$21 About this opportunity: Provides pre-school services for children including personal care, hygiene, learning and development activities and specialized programs. Key responsibilities: Provides constant care for the needs of the children in an efficient, clean, loving, safe, secure, and healthy manner. Plans, develops, and teaches pre-school classes. Prepares and maintains records. Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of childcare property.   What we are looking for in you: High school diploma or G.E.D. required and   Two years’ experience teaching child development programs in a church or pre-school, or   any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.   Valid state driver's license   C.P.R. and First Aid Certification   DCF Childcare Courses CDA   Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:   Ability to lift, hold, and carry children on a regular basis (up to 50 lbs.).   Duties are usually performed by combinations of sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent change basis.   Work is performed in a normal pre-school environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
