Are you a high school sophomore, junior, or senior looking to make a difference this summer? At Camp Hoblitzelle, we’re searching for young musicians who are passionate about serving, learning, and being part of an uplifting team. As a Junior Instructor, you’ll assist in daily music classes, focusing on brass, piano, guitar, and percussion. Your role will be essential in creating a fun, safe, and supportive camp experience for everyone.

Key responsibilities :
- Supervision and Guidance :
Provides guidance and positive role modeling to campers, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Enforces compliance with camp rules, safety, and health regulations within the classroom.
Sits with camper tables during meals, serving as a table monitor.
Assists with camp program activities and other assigned tasks, collaborating closely with other team members.
Ensures the accountability, security, and safety of campers during all camp activities.
What we are looking for in you :
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :
Some physical requirements of the Jr. Instructor position include endurance, climbing, standing, bending, stooping, and stretching. Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to manipulate activities are required. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate camper activities / programs and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be willing to live in a camp setting and work irregular hours delivering a program in the facility available. Operate with daily exposure to the sun and heat and varying environmental conditions.
