About this opportunity: Provides direction and leadership to all Social Services Programs administered through the Corps. Writes and processes grants and proposals for all social service program funding; develops, interprets and enforces operational and personnel policies and procedures; monitors quality of programs and ensures compliance with Salvation Army policies and procedures as well as grants, contracts, and licensing regulations; prepares, reviews, and interprets budgets; serves as liaison to community agencies and Advisory Board.
Key responsibilities:
Ability to meet attendance requirements.
Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively.
Ability to perform complex mathematical computations and to analyze/interpret complex budgets.
Ability to perform public speaking.
Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time.
Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking.
Working Conditions:
Work may be performed in an office environment within a shelter where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like but not limited to the office environment.

- Case Management
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, business administration or a related field
- Three years of progressively responsible experience coordinating and supervising social services programs, with at least one year of supervisory experience.
- Valid State Driver’s License
Ability to meet attendance requirements.
Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively.
