- Preset professional appearance, adhering to dress code at all times.
- Maintains a friendly demeanor, greeting our donors and asking if they need any assistance.
- Responsible for all operations and security matters while on duty.
- Receive and receipt all donated material ensuring that email address is obtained from as many donors as possible
- Safeguard all donated materials and assigned equipment
- Track donations per center policy.
- Courteously advise donors of materials that are not accepted. Advise donors of heavy material pick-up service.
- Applicable power sort donations as they come in.
- Report complaints, damage, and any inquiries occurring on or near the donation area of the Salvation Army.
- Sort, Load, and Unload all Salvation Army trucks per center policy.
- Support the production processes as needed.
- Must have a flexible schedule.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands,
handle, or feel; and hear or talk. The employee is frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel or crouch.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and be able to move equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Physical requirements include:
Speaking, hearing and vision ability, and excellent manual dexterity to be able to perform on computers.
Lifting, pulling and pushing of materials up to 50 pounds to be able to move equipment.
Working Conditions:
The work environment for this position is a store environment with a quiet to moderate noise level.
The environment may be dusty and may experience temperature fluctuations based on weather. The
employee is routinely exposed to outdoor weather. Full-Time or Part-Time position; will require weekend and evening hours.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
