About this opportunity :
Under the general supervision of the Corps Officer, the Officer Administrator is responsible for the administrative oversight of the Corps office. Prepare and process all functions, to include supporting the Advisory Board, Interchange management, basic office management, primary backup for front desk, scheduling of the office, events, social media and communications.
Key responsibilities :
- Supervises, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates the day-to-day operations of Corps clerical work, ensures the accomplishment of the various office tasks in the most efficient and effective manner possible; cross-trains and supports all office assignments concentrating on targeted deadlines and quality standards.
- Composes Commanding Officer’s correspondence, assists with appointments, and documents meetings when needed; transcribes dictation and types of correspondence and / or minutes in an accurate and timely manner.
- Designs, prepares layout and generates charts, graphs, posters, bulletins and programs as needed; assists in planning and coordinating special events, annual conferences, and seasonal programs.
- Assists in preparing and administering the departmental media and communications budget; develops project budget and monitors expenditures to ensure compliance with budget constraints; performs other related work as required.
What we are looking for in you :
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration or a related field and two years progressively responsible administrative experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Valid State Driver’s License.
