Ability to lift, hold, and carry children on a regular basis (up to 50 lbs.).
Duties are usually performed by combinations of sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent change basis.
Work is performed in a normal pre-school environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.

- Provides pre-school services for children including personal care, hygiene, learning and development activities and specialized programs.
- Plans, develops, and teaches pre-school classes.
- prepares and maintains records; maintains cleanliness and orderliness of childcare property.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required and
- two year's experience teaching child development programs in a church or pre-school, or
- any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Valid state driver's license
- C.P.R. and First Aid Certification
- Health Card Certification
- DCF Childcare Courses
