Bartender/Server

- Must be 21 (required)
- Minimum 6 months FULL-BAR bartending experience (required).
- Minimum 2 years FULL-BAR bartending experience (preferred).
- Minimum 1 year floor serving experience (required)
- Reliable transportation (required)
- ServSafe Food Handler or willing to get it (required)
- ServSafe Alcohol Training or willing to get it (required)
- ServeSafe Manager Certification or willing to get it (desired).
Responsibilities:
- SERVE your guests with a smile and positive attitude
- Take drink and food orders from guests and enter in the POS
- Cash and Credit Card processing
- Mix drinks, pour beer and wine to SOPs and house standards
- Have thorough knowledge of beverage offerings, food menu and specials
- Interact with guests. Answer questions about food and beverage menu
- Check on guests throughout service. Anticipate guests’ needs before they ask
- Listen to guests complaints and issues and take initiative to resolve the issue
- Give guests an experience that will make them want to come back
- Keep the bar and restaurant clean. Clear glassware/dishes when guests are finished with these items. Wipe down after guests leave. Wipe messes from food, beverage, condensation from glasses, etc
- Wash glassware and inspect glassware cleanliness before putting away
- Keep bar and workspace clean and organized
- Keep bar stocked with tools, equipment, ice and liquor throughout shift
- Change kegs according to company SOPs
- Run food, check to make sure the food up matches the order before running it, make sure guests have appropriate utensils and condiments and ask if they need anything else before attending to your next task
- Implement sanitation procedures according to Servsafe and Covid-19 standards
- Follow Servsafe Alcohol Training, company, state and county rules and laws regarding alcohol service
- Respectfully cut guests off when they show signs of intoxication and communicate with everyone on duty
- Set up bar and follow opening procedures when opening
- Thoroughly clean bar and restock when closing
- Attend staff trainings attentively
- Read emails and updates before you get “on the floor”
- Arrive to work on time
- Perform tasks and duties that are asked of you on shift
- Report any issues or customer dissatisfaction to management at end of shift
