This position will be based at The Scotts Miracle-Gro world headquarters in Marysville (a suburb of Columbus, OH).
The Manager, Omnichannel Strategy will develop go-to-market strategies for our key retailers as well as define execution of those strategies.This Manager-level position engages with executive leadership to understand Scotts marketing strategic vision and interprets this into action for cross-functional teams. The position has a wide range of responsibilities from analyzing data & category management to internal business development, to developing long-term e-com strategies with cross functional teams.

The position has a wide range of responsibilities from analyzing data & category management to internal business development, to developing long-term e-com strategies with cross functional teams.
In this role you will:
- Provide strategic direction for the design and integration of marketing and sales plans that come to life on retailer websites with effective content.
- Work with business units and business development teams in identifying and defining initiatives that drive long-term growth through retailer websites.
- Implement recommendations to push forward strategic initiatives around pricing, promotion, and innovation.
- Communicate plans and execution strategies across all levels of the organization.
- Actively seek new sales opportunities rooted in category data.
- Serve as project manager on certain key initiatives. This includes setting targets for milestones, meeting deadlines, making effective decisions, and delegating to appropriate team members.
- Develop processes and recommend practices in support of operational excellence within the E-com team and across the Scotts organization.
- Hire, train, and manage a team of two people responsible for online merchandising & category management.
- 3-5 years experience in business development or e-com marketing
- Flexible, powerful intellect.
- Strong analytical skills.
- A bias for action.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively - including ability to build presentations to communicate complex topics in straight forward ways.
- Solid experience organizing, planning, and managing high-priority projects from concept through implementation.
- A desire and comfort in working in a changing, fluid, ambiguous environment.
- IQ/EQ balance that will enable growth into senior roles.
- Track record of successfully dealing with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Strong presence, poise, and persuasiveness to quickly establish a high level of credibility.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, open work environment.

Salary : $125,000 - $147,100
