As an Event Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in assisting and providing office support to our Event team. You will work closely with the Event Managers to ensure every detail is meticulously handled, from initial concept to final execution. The Events Coordinator must be a highly motivated individual who is eager and ready to accept additional responsibilities when needed. The ideal candidate has a friendly demeanor, the ability to learn new computer programs, can multitask and complete projects in a timely manner. This person should demonstrate exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.

The hourly rate for this position is $24.00/hr
Responsibilities- This list is not all-encompassing and that daily work tasks may and can be altered to meet business needs.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative tasks related to event management, amenities, EO, Resume. etc
- Provide general support to the event management team.
Handling Room-Only Groups:
- Coordinate and manage room-only group bookings.
- Liaise with clients to confirm booking details and special requests.
Small Corporate Groups:
- Handle corporate groups with 30 rooms or less.
- Provide personalized service to ensure client satisfaction.
- Manage events and room blocks and monitor group reservations.
Internal Booking Management:
- Oversee internal booking processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of booking information.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Event and Sales Leads Assistance:
- Support the event and sales teams in handling leads and phone calls.
- Follow up on leads and maintain detailed records.

Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Refined verbal communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of computer applications.
- High School diploma or equivalent required with a minimum one-year hotel experience or one year at catering/conference, events or meeting planning experience.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite.
