What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Hostess position at The Sedgwick?
The Sedgwick in Vancouver, WA is looking for hosts/food runners to join our team. We are located on 801 Washington Street. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and reliable.
Positions are part-time, 20-25 hours/week, 4-5 hour shifts. All shifts are nights and weeks.
The hourly wage is $16.28 plus tips.
Responsibilities
- Answering the phones
- Greeting customers and making them feel welcome
- Estimating wait time for guests
- Taking guests to their table and presenting the menu
- Delivering food to tables
- Resetting the tables after the guests have left
- Delivering a great guests experience
Qualifications
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Strong organizational and motivational skills
- Able to multitask efficiently and under pressure
- Prior experience a plus
