BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST

The Select Group is currently hiring for a Business Systems Analyst to join as a resource for one of our clients within the Telecommunications industry that will be working 100% REMOTE anywhere in Canada. This Analyst will be joining the Enterprise Analytics Platforms team to support a large-scale enterprise BI tooling migration project from Domo to Tableau Cloud. The intended data flow process is intended to have enterprise source data flow into (GCP) Google Cloud Platform and stored to then leverage Tableau Cloud to pull data, then to have internal analysts create visualizations for the business stakeholder to drive actionable business insights. Business Systems Analyst Requirements

• Ideally possesses 5 years of experience as a (BSA) Business Systems Analyst/Business Analyst/Systems Analyst/Data Analyst with an expertise in gathering technical requirements of data platform migrations or other software related migrations
• Strong knowledge of BI tools, must have expose to either Tableau Cloud or Tableau
• Experienced/knowledgeable within (GCP) Google Cloud Platforms BigQuery (understanding the process required for data to flow from source system to GCP allowing for large data sets to be transformed and stored within a cloud environment)
• Strong communication and soft skills that allows the ability to collaborate with different stakeholders such as business and technical teams
• Experienced with preparation of documents and materials for executive reporting
• Must have a strong knowledge of a variety of BI tools and processes (Tableau, ETL pipeline developments using SQL, Power BI, Dashboards and Reports creating, etc.)
  
  

Plus Skills

• Experience with Domo BI Platform
• Tableau Cloud Certification
• Business Analysis Certifications (CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent)
  
  

Business Systems Analyst Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze and document business requirements from internal stakeholders - assessing the most important actions to take from a technical perspective and drive initiatives from conception to deployments
• Create and maintain requirements traceability matrixes - following the correct processes and procedures to document data flows and process flows for future teams to track
• Track requirements implementation status and testing progress and identify and document business process gaps and improvement opportunities
• Facilitate workshops and meetings during stand-up meetings - Monitor and report on requirements delivery status
• Support user acceptance testing and maintain business process documentation and solution specifications throughout the process
