Robot Technician - Smart Shop

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Robot Operation and automation systems, with a focus on maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal functionality of our systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain robots and robotic programming to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics on existing robot systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to robot, HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces) and associated equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement upgrades or modifications to existing systems to meet evolving business needs.
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance technicians and operators regarding robotic systems and automation equipment.

Education

• Robotic programming, Automation, or related fields.
• Proven experience working with industrial robots.
• Strong knowledge of robot programming and experience with various robot hardware and software. (Hyundai, ABB, Kuka, Cloos experience a plus)
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing faults in robotic systems and associated components.
• Familiarity with HMI systems and their integration with robots and PLCs.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Prior experience in performing maintenance, upgrades, and modifications to existing automation systems is preferred.
• Relevant certifications or training in robotic programming and automation technologies are advantageous.
• Robotic welding experience would be a plus.
