This is a contract position. You must be an established Independent Contractor to be considered. This Independent Contractor opportunity is for up to 30-40 hours per week dependent upon courses offered. You must be available to work hours matched to Pacific times, typically somewhere between 9am-5pm, Mon.-Fri. This contract opportunity will pay $25-30 per hour dependent upon experience and qualifications.

About This Position:
The Independent Contractor-Course Manager provides support and oversight for delivering Courses that are offered by The Shift Network, in collaboration with faculty partners, and in service to customers. You will need a fine balance of highly technical skills, project management, communication skills and possibly live presentation skills, and be available to support a Course Host. You must be in harmony with The Shift Network’s vision of accelerating the shift to a peaceful, sustainable, healthy, and prosperous world, and have a commitment to the work of personal and collective transformation.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with many team members to ensure an efficient and effective production process and smooth course delivery
- Act as the primary contact with Course Faculty, providing world-class support, communicating needs, tracking deliverables and serving as a liaison to the internal Shift team.
- Manage Course Participants through effective communication
- Accurately complete production documents.
Qualifications and Characteristics Desired:
- 2 years project management or administrative experience
- Experience in hosting programs, in person/online, with comfort and confidence in public speaking
- Ability to interface with leading faculty and colleagues in a highly professional manner
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Competence and confidence with technology platforms preferably with experience in:
- Zoom
- Keap (formerly Infusionsoft) or similar CRMs
- Slack
- Asana
- Confluence
- AirTable
- Willingness to learn Aurora
- Knowledge of transformational content and online learning with focus on leading teachers, schools of thought, and market trends
Excellent organizational, time, strategic, management, writing and communication skills - Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Must have reliable home office equipment including high-speed internet connection, prefer landline, and quiet environment to host public programs
1-2 years remote office experience, preferred
