The Shubert Organization is America’s oldest professional theatre company and the largest theatre owner on Broadway. Its consumer-facing brands—Telecharge for retail ticket sales and Broadway Inbound for tour operators and the travel industry—sell millions of tickets each year.
JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistant, Facilities Department
SALARY: $60,000 to $70,000 depending on skills and experience.
WORK HOURS: 10:00am to 6:00pm (Monday – Friday) with overtime as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:
- Perform administrative and clerical duties such as:
- Answer phones and facilitate other office communications
- Opening, stamping, and distributing mail
- Dispatch routine work requests
- Administer work order systems
- Receive vendor invoices, process for required approvals, and transmit to Accounts Payable
- Digitize and maintain records related to work orders and contractor invoices, and other filing and records management tasks
- Provide administrative support to the Department’s management staff
- Perform other miscellaneous tasks as required
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- 2 years general office work experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills.
- Ability to effectively multi-task
- Must have strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet)
