We are seeking a talented and creative Production Artist to join our team in producing high-quality signs and graphics for our clients. The ideal candidate is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and has experience with a variety of large format equipment, such as HP Latex printers and engraving tables. This role is responsible for producing signs and graphics in a timely manner, mounting vinyl materials onto various substrates, and installing signs when required.
We are likely moving locations to Piscataway, NJ within the next few months
Key Responsibilities :
Create and produce visually impactful signs and graphics using Adobe Creative Suite.
Operate large format equipment, including HP Latex printers and engraving tables, to produce high-quality signs and graphics.
Mount vinyl materials onto substrates, such as vehicles and glass doors, ensuring proper alignment and a professional finish.
Install signs on-site when required, collaborating with clients to ensure their satisfaction.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate records of production schedules, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative signage solutions for clients.
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance production quality and efficiency.
Qualifications :
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with an emphasis on Illustrator and Photoshop.
Experience with large format printers and engraving tables.
Strong understanding of production processes and materials, including vinyl mounting and substrate preparation.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in a sign production environment is an asset.
