What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Operator / Graphic Designer position at The Sign Shop of Sheboygan?
Our well-established sign company in Sheboygan is seeking a qualified individual to join our team. Primary duties of your position include the processing and printing of digital files on 60” wide printers, operating our laminating and vinyl cutting equipment, and manual finishing work. Secondary duties of your position will be assisting the lead designer in manipulating client-supplied or existing files as well as creating new and original artwork.
You must know of, and experience in, the sign and vinyl graphics industry. Formal education in a related field is preferred but not crucial. Training or work experience in Adobe Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, and Onyx RIP (or comparable) software will help you do this job well.
