We are seeking a Sales Account Manager to join our team and represent Signal Marine throughout Florida. Our ideal candidate has a hunter's mentality with strong negotiation skills. They also have industry knowledge and are well-connected in the Florida Maritime industry.
Job Summary:
The Signal Marine Account Manager is responsible for prospecting and solution selling DIRECTV for Marine application, and a myriad of connectivity products and services to prospects and customers. The Signal Marine Account Manager works collaboratively with other departments to provide the best products and customer service to their clients. This role also has responsibility for meeting department and company standards for productivity, product knowledge, resourcefulness, and being solution driven.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sell Signal Marine services to prospects and customers through outbound and inbound calls and in person.
- Provide excellent customer service with a knowledgeable and proactive approach, ensuring a positive consumer experience with Signal Group.
- Utilize Solution Selling with all prospect and customer interactions.
- Manage a high call volume and fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Take Signal Group connectivity solutions to market using strong technical understanding and knowledge of the marine industry, particularly luxury yachts.
- Prospect and develop relationships with partners, integrators, captains, and boat brokers.
- Travel as needed to build the company’s brand and presence at trade shows related to the company.
- Input, manage, and maintain customer information in the CRM system (NetSuite) and DirecTV systems.
- Monitor all orders and accounts to ensure compliance with DIRECTV standards.
- Prospect new business in order build long-term client and partner relationships with a hunter’s mentality.
- Assist on special projects as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of the sales process

- Proficient in using a personal computer and proprietary software
- Experience with NetSuite ERP System, E-Commerce and Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) a plus.
- Experience using a CRM system
- Ability to prioritize and work independently
- Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions
- Proven knowledge and success in all areas of sales
- Ability to be flexible and manage multiple customers at the same time
Education and Experience:
Associate degree preferred
10 years of sales experience selling complex technical products or solutions
Physical or Other Requirements:
Ability to sit and work at a computer up to 8 hours per day
Work Environment:
Remote, Home Office.
Travel Requirements:
Travel the state of Florida to meet with customers and prospects
Travel for trade shows and conventions

Salary : $100,000 - $125,000
