We’re looking for responsible, energetic individuals with excellent people skills to help serve our delicious ice cream in the heart of Downtown Rapid City! This position renders great tips.

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and friendly Ice Cream Scoopers to join our team. As an Ice Cream Scooper, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while serving delicious ice cream treats. Your primary responsibilities will include scooping ice cream, maintaining a clean work environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction through friendly interactions.

Duties

• Serve ice cream and other frozen desserts to customers with a smile.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and service areas.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
• Upsell additional products to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
• Ensure all food handling guidelines are followed to maintain food safety standards.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or retail environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation regulations.
• Proficient in using cash registers and POS systems.
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
