Front-Of-House Staff

The Skagit Table in Mount Vernon, WA is looking for one front-of-house staff to join our team. We are located on 225 S 1st Street. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and hard-working.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Front-of-House Staff

Job Duties: As a Front-of-House Staff, you will be responsible for assisting with front-of-house activities, including food service in accordance with the event schedule. Specifically, your essential functions will be to perform the following tasks to the highest standards in a calm, professional manner:

*Setting-up and tearing-down for events *Assisting with serving food *Becoming knowledgeable about the food and ingredients you are serving *Communicating with customers regarding the food and ingredients you are serving *Assisting Front-of-House Lead with tasks related to food-service *Communicating with back-of-house about timeline changes for events

Time Commitment: The Front-of-House Lead is a part-time position and you will be scheduled based on booking. The primary event season is from the beginning of April to the middle of November. Is it expected that you will be available for additional events as they book, with the exception of pre-planned time off. Schedule may be flexible pending shift coverage.

Scheduling is open to flexibility. Please communicate your needs with us and we will try our best to work with you.

Physical Requirements:

*Long periods standing/walking; *Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.; *Ability to crouch, kneel, bend, or reach overhead and below the waist; *Ability to drive a motor vehicle.

Other Requirements:

*Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills *Current and valid driver license and a reliable vehicle *Computer and cell phone *Ability to manage numerous catering staff, including bar tenders *Ability to work in a restaurant or catering setting *Schedule flexibility

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $16.66 - $22.00/hour.
