Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the required standards of quality and safety. This role involves conducting inspections, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations such as FDA regulations, CGMP, and HACCP. The Quality Control Inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our manufacturing processes and products.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments including micrometers and coordinate measuring machines to assess product quality.
- Analyze inspection results and maintain accurate records of findings.
- Ensure adherence to FDA regulations, ISO 13485 standards, CGMP practices, and HACCP guidelines throughout the production process.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement in quality control processes.
- Fabricate test samples as necessary for quality assurance testing.
- Report any non-conformities or defects to management and assist in implementing corrective actions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations, CGMP, HACCP standards, and ISO 13485 is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of Calypso software is a plus but not mandatory.
