Slabe Machine Products in Willoughby, Ohio is hiring! We are looking for a CNC Turn Mill set up/operator or operators to add to our 1st shift staff! What an exciting time to join our growing team!! 1st shift runs 6:45 am to 3:15 pm Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities
- Operate twin-axis lathe- Omni Turn.
- Load fixture in the machine with blank parts to be machined or a machined part for one (1) of the part-specific operations which would be noted on the job router.
- Utilize measuring devices to accurately measure part characteristics to ensure they meet within part conformance requirements, and document measurements on inspection documents.
- Make any necessary offset changes to the machine program to account for tool wear/movement.
- Seek supervisory help if the machine fails, or measurements get completely outside limits.
- Document on router production, quality & scrap counts daily.
- Check to make sure Coolant or Oil levels are at proper function levels.
- Set up and operate Turn Mill
- Making offsets
- Troubleshooting simple issues
- Aerospace Industry experience
- Ability to read GD&T Code
- Ability to use all measuring tools
