Senior Buyer

Description

Will-Mor Manufacturing is a leading precision CNC Manufacturing company in the Seacoast area, specializing in complex work in support of the Aerospace and Defense industries. The Company is looking to add a Senior Buyer to the Purchasing Department.

The Senior Buyer is responsible for quoting, negotiating pricing, and purchasing any / all needed or requested products and services to support the Company’s manufacturing plan. This position will report directly to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete responsibility to Quote, negotiate and purchase all needed product.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
• Act as primary contact with the Supply base.
• Ensure the timely delivery of materials and services from vendors.
• Identify opportunities to leverage buying power between Will-Mor and our parent company to drive down prices.
• Manage inventory levels to optimize stock turnover and reduce holding costs.
• Assure transactions are within budget and consistent with business policies.
• Advise purchasing status that has an impact on manufacturing schedules.
• Support Production Control in expediting material as necessary.
• Assist Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Work with other departments, such as accounting and stock, to ensure inventory is maintained and budget adherence.
• Performs other tasks and duties as required.
