This position involves computational research on fusion nuclear materials within a multi-scale modeling framework. The main task focuses on contributing to and using the cluster dynamics code Xolotl to assess irradiation effects on hydrogen transport in fusion materials. The post-doc will work on a diverse and energetic team in the development of these capabilities and interface with research scientists at National Laboratories for code benchmarking and experimental validation.
Additional duties include technical interactions with undergraduate and graduate students, contributing to and developing new research initiatives, writing peer reviewed scientific journal articles, and fiscal and technical management of research projects.
