Role Description
This is a part-time on-site Accounting Assistant role located in Raleigh, NC. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for tasks related to financial management, including bookkeeping, financial statements, accounting software, journal entries, and analytical skills. The role involves providing support in various financial and administrative tasks to help clients manage their businesses effectively.
Qualifications
- Financial Statements, Journal Entries, and Analytical Skills
- Experience with Accounting Software and Finance
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Can juggle multiple clients/full book of business
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Monthly financial statements and reports
- Keep track of client assets
- Reconcile all client accounts
- Administrative tasks as assigned by clients
Candidate must be highly proficient in QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, Excel, Word, Google Sheets, Google Docs and Google Drive. Must possess a deep understanding of basic bookkeeping principles as well as the following:
- Radiant customer service attitude and outlook
- Bi-Lingual (not required)
- Looking for personal and professional growth
- Understanding of how a small business mentality works
- Self-directed (non-micromanaged position)
- Able to work and communicate effectively in a team environment
- Requires ideal candidate to be highly organized, committed to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Schedule:
- 4 Days on Site with a Guaranteed 3 Day Weekend
- Monday- Friday flexible start time
