The Soul Spot Bartending and waitstaff duties. They are responsible for preparing and serving drinks at a bar while also taking food and drink orders, delivering them to tables, and providing general table service. Essentially, they act as both the bartender and a server for the bar area. Responsibilities:
- Beverage Preparation: Mixing, garnishing, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Order Taking and Delivery: Taking drink orders from customers at the bar and at tables, delivering drinks to tables, and potentially food orders as well.
- Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service, including taking orders, making suggestions, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Table Service: Setting tables, clearing plates and glasses, and potentially bussing tables as needed.
- Point of Sale (POS) System: Using POS systems to process payments for drinks and food.
- Bar Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and organized bar area, stocking bar supplies, and ensuring proper inventory management.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role.
- Mixology Knowledge: Familiarity with different types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including how to mix and garnish them.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers and address their needs.
- Organization and Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods of time and potentially lift and carry items.
- POS System Proficiency: Familiarity with POS systems used for order taking and payment processing.
- Age Requirements: Typically, a minimum age of 21 is required to serve alcohol.
- Alcohol Service Certification: Valid alcohol service certification may be required.

Pay: $9.25 - $12.00 per hour
