Striker's Grill is seeking dedicated Cook/Cashiers to join the team!
As a Cook/Cashier at Striker's Grill, you will be responsible for making sure that the guests have an exceptional experience while dining or grabbing a snack from The Grill, upholding exceptional customer service, and accurately processing transactions for the restaurant. .
This position is Part-Time
COMPENSATION: $12.00 per hour
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Customer service: Greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving complaints
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards
- Entering orders into a cash register or point of sale (POS) system, ensuring orders are correct, and handing them to customers
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and adhere to health and safety regulations
- Receive, store, and rotate stock items in accordance with established procedures
- Ensure that all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality
- Monitor food preparation and presentation to ensure that it meets the highest standards
- Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items
- Assist in the training of new cooks
- Preparing and serving food and drinks to customers
- Assembling and packing food orders in carry-out containers and bags
- Following all food safety guidelines
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- Previous experience as a cook in a fast food setting
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work as a team environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
