Striker's Grill and Pizza is seeking a motivated Kitchen Manager that knows how to approach with leadership skills and excellent food quality so the team can score a perfect game!
Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 / hr depending experience.

As a Kitchen Manager at Striker's, you will oversee all aspects of a restaurant kitchen, including managing staff, ensuring food quality and safety, maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, creating menus, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, all while optimizing kitchen operations for smooth and efficient food preparation and service.
Proper guest service requires an employee staff that is thoroughly trained in service sequence, product knowledge, and makes every effort to meet the needs of each and every guest. This is accomplished through daily lineups, daily restaurant performance evaluation, team evaluations, and coordination of timely and quality food execution.
Key Responsibilities of the Kitchen Manager include:
- Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers.
- Monitoring food preparation to ensure consistency with recipes, quality standards, and proper presentation.
- Tracking and ordering food supplies to maintain proper inventory levels and minimize waste.
- Collaborating with chefs to create and implement new menus, including pricing and recipe adjustments.
- Enforcing strict food safety and sanitation practices, including proper food handling, storage, and cleaning procedures.
- Managing kitchen expenses by monitoring food costs, labor costs, and overall budget.
- Managing the workflow in the kitchen, ensuring efficient production and timely service.
- Adhering to all local health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School diploma/GED.
- Previous professional kitchen experience.
- Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Understanding of cooking techniques, food safety standards, and recipe development.
- Efficiently managing multiple tasks and priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- Clear communication with kitchen staff, front-of-house staff, and management.
- Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues in the kitchen.
