We currently have an exceptional career opportunity for a dedicated RN to join our Withdrawal Management Program in New London, CT.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Perform initial nursing assessments of client and document ongoing assessments of clients that are response to treatment.
- Perform admissions of clients.
- Develop, implement, record and evaluate nursing care plans according to age and specific needs of clients.
- Participate in or supervise the nursing care of clients, providing direct physical care measures as needed.
- Act as a primary nurse working with individual clients and coordinating their treatment.
- Execute the medical regimen of care as prescribed by the physician.
- Educate the client and family toward an understanding of health and illness and the plans for post-discharge care.
- Respond to medical and psychiatric emergency needs of clients.
Qualifications: Degree in nursing with six months to one-year related experience and/or training. Current RN License in state of CT and CPR Certification required.
